Today I sold the Triumph and threw some of that money into this little guy.

2005 Genuine Stella (Indian made Vespa px150) been looking at one of these for a while. Overall, need to get used to the grip shifter, but a ton of fun to ride around. Definitely meets my expectations and should be a great summer commuter alongside the Suzukis.

I would most definitely kill myself on a bike. I will PROBABLY only kill myself on a scooter, so that is the safer option :P

The E39 540i 6spd lives outside

First layer of the garage has the track car and the $200 Miata

Second Layer of the garage has Deathtrap (the SV650), Partygirl (the partially dissassembled DRZ400 Supermoto), Haruko (whose name probably has to change now), and the spare FR-S motor and trans. Bit of a mess right now, but it was a thrash to get the triumph all sorted for sale

I’m actually way less safe on a scoot :P

Limits are so low that they just beg to be ridden at 10/10ths EVERYWHERE (and I mean like for real 10/10ths)

That’s my problem. I used to have a 3 mile commute and a little 50cc scooter. I sold it because I know have a 50 mile commute without any driving under 55mph. I’m considering getting something to replace it but would prefer a project.

I’m not expecting to commute on it just miss riding it.

Also you get bonus points for the milk crate. Fixing a milk crate to the “luggage rack” was the first thing I did to my Honda Areo80 after I got it running.

There’s actually a place near me that does Vespa restoration. He occasionally gets other brands as trades for work and from auctions. I’ve talked to him a few times and he said he’d let me know when he got something he felt was worth restoring but wouldn’t be valuable enough for him to fix and sell.
